I've had Toby for 3 months now and from day one it has been a real struggle. It seems he falls in love with a certain food just as quickly as he falls out of love with it. He goes to the bathroom regularly and his poops are also healthy, no off colours or soft. I do find he favours anything not edible like dirt which has me worried; I've set up a vet appointment for latter today. As for his kibble, I have: softened it, made it into a paste, mixed it with cottage and parm cheese. My problem is he falls in love with a food then doesn't touch it again. Last week I thought cottage cheese would do the trick but apparently not.
I take him for walks twice a day, morning and night then give him his food. when i first started this he devoured his bowl of food but now when i put his food down he turns his nose up. I play with him as often as I can, he likes to chase a toy mouse around the house. I'll look for the freeze-dried patty meals you suggested in the pet food stores around here. |
