Mats should be brushed out b4 a bath, otherwise, they shrink & form tighter when it gets wet...if he has mats over 50% of his body, it's humane to shave it off, esp if it's to the skin.
Best to start over, puppy hair is a nightmare anyway (LOL)...they move, it tangles.
P.S. Bath every 3 days is kind of xtreme...dries out their hair & skin. Once a week or once every 10-14 days is the norm. |
