Just to butt in here, if you read her first post her Vet said NO due to his age, OP was asking if she should do it any way's due to the traveling that she does.
My Vet gives Non core Vac's ( routine parvo distemper) every 3 yrs, and the city I live requires Rabies Vac every 3 yrs.
