I would never use a collar with insecticide on it. There is no method to control how much chemical your pet is absorbing. Tropical flea meds (the spot ons) are at least adjusted by weight.
It's good you took it off. Those were sure signs that she was not tolerating it well.
Get a flea comb if you do not have a big flea problem. Comb her with it a couple times a day to get rid of anything she may have picked up. Use it after she has been outside too.
Vacuum often and empty it outside. If you do have a big flea problem vacuuming and using a topical spot on product (like Advantage II) should get things under control. We use Advantage II but only during the flea season which is about 4 months out of the year where we live. |
