He is very young. I think you need the input of some of the breeders here. I know breeders 'deworm' pups, but I'm not sure what they use.

My understanding is that heartworm preventatives like Interceptor should not be given to puppies -- although I started my Max on one when when he was 13 weeks old and 3 pounds, per my vet's recommendation. Our breeder doesn't start the heartworm preventative until 6 months of age.

Your Teddy has had Interceptor twice now at 11 weeks. That might be part of the problem.

Did your vet rule out parvo? Parvo is very serious.

Is he still vomiting? Lethargic? Being so young and so small, as you know, you need to keep a close eye on him and don't hesitate to go back to the vet.
