That's a tough one. I have a very energetic yorkie and I once fostered a kitten until I could find it a home (which I now wish I would of kept....not to worry, she's in a good home.). Anyway they bonded within minutes of meeting each other and it started almost immediately.
They were chasing each other, playing with each other and then they would fall asleep with each other which is the reason I now regret finding the kitten another home.
Because they were so playful, I had to separate them mainly for my own sanity. With the kitten, I was afraid her little heart was going to bust so I would break it up after about a half hour or so to get her to calm down. She would take a quick kitten nap and she was back playing. Most of the time though, they would stop if they got tired own their own.
At night was the worst because, they would chase each other back and forth across the bed while I was trying to sleep......I had to put her in the expen at night because those two were driving me crazy. |
