Hi, I just read your post and my little Cricket had a liver shunt as well. She had surgery as a puppy to fix it, but she was later diagnosed with MVD which are little tiny shunts that cannot be repaired. She eats science diet L/D dry food and she does good on it. She is now 3 years old and weighs about 8 lbs. I hope your boy is okay.
