Different pets have different rules! Our families black lab Sam- is never ever ever allowed on my bed- but for Lilah, my lovely yorkie lady, it is her safe space, her haven, she sleeps with me every night. Like someone posted earlier, maybe little Pac will want to join her when he realizes there is a warm snuggly body to cuddle away from the human rolling over jostled bed- although I wouldn't suddenly kick him off my bed at the arrival
Of a new puppy- it is definitely a good long term goal. And thank goodness they get along! Lilah refused to eat when Sam first joined the house and is still having some sassy little issues after over two months! I am so envious of your two yorkie home, I am sure you will love it in no time!
