Hi Community,

My Mom came home in July with the most precious little Yorkie puppy. Within a couple weeks I knew something was wrong. In the last two weeks we've been to the emergency room, a few Vet visits, and to a specialist (Surgeon). He has liver shunt.

Our little guy is not even 4 months old yet. He only weighs 3 pounds. Hes very skinny. Seems so frail and unhealthy. He has more sick days lately than good ones. This surgeon says hes a good candidate for surgery. Which is great all we want is for him to get well.

I need a recipe for homemade puppy liver shunt diet. As the food the vet had us get seems to make him have these episodes every other day. Please help me, help him, to get healthier before surgery. Any advice at all is sincerely appreciated.
