You may even find that Tupac will be willing to sleep with the new pup away from your bed--certainly worth a try! I know that I never hear a peep from our two from the time that I put them into their pen at night until they hear us up and running the next day. The best is when I find them cuddled up in the tiny crate together while the bed that is available to them is empty.
I am sure you will figure out the feeding thing. I just give Maggie her puppy food by hand because that would not be good for Gracie. You might want to see if the prescription food would be harmful to the new pup. If not, just make sure that she gets enough puppy food to grow well. Then you could continue to free feed both.
