 Plasmacytoma (update on Jack)
Does anybody have any experience in caring for a baby who's had plasmacytoma? Jack was diagnosed with it last month and he just had surgery on Tuesday to get rid of the cancer. They removed most of his bottom jaw and my poor baby won't eat. I know it's only been three days since surgery but he just won't eat a thing. Vets say he will eventually learn to eat in a way that's comfortable for him. How long will it take? Jack can't come home unless he eats. I want my baby to be home recovering with us but I fully understand he can't be released until he eats. My heart is broken into a million pieces and there's nothing I can do to help him. I was able to visit him yesterday and he just looks so sad. He won't even eat chicken, and he NEVER says no to chicken. Please help if you know anything about this. I can't take this torture much longer. Thank you. |
