 Yorkie with an Enlarged Heart
Lucy was diagnosed with an enlarged heart some time ago. She is very energetic and loves to play; her appetite is excellent. My vet put her on Prilium (Imidapril) and Furozenol (diuretic) and her coughing/gagging decreased but I was wondering whether the medication should've made this disappear completely. Nowadays she rarely coughs when on her walks with me, but she still coughs when she drinks water or plays rough with Jake, my other Yorkie, or gets excited. Any advice is appreciated, thanks. |
