We start with just chicken and rice and give frequent very small meals. Theb we add the veggies- which she loves and after a few days start adding back in her wet food- her serving is a TBSP or less anyway so we just start small and work up to that mixed in with her chicken and rice. Then put the dry food back down and decreasing the chicken and rice til we are back on our normal diet of wet and dry. Count pees, watch poops, count any throw ups, monitor fluid intake. That has worked well for us. I am sorry your baby is so sick, that is such a scary thing. Watch for dehydration. |
Thank you. That is fantastic advice and I'll be sure to follow it. Hubby and daughter think I'm a nut monitoring her stools every day. I've done that ever since she was dx'd with Giardia at almost 5 months. counting pees and monitoring fluid intake I'll add in.
