Uh- I just got off the phone with Castor and Pollux. I've spent 2 hours researching these treats, and a lot of dogs are coming down with similar symptoms- matter of fact, although I didn't buy them on amazon, but rather a natural pet food store, it turns out that some lady has had the exact same thing happen with her dog- and her dog gets organic, from scratch, cooked just so food. That was the one that really stood out. Same thing, stool change, not a lot to make a fuss over, then some throwing up- a bit- and then what hit Chewie. Thank you, I'm bringing it by the vet to let them know, but more, i called Castor and Pollux, verified that they sold out to Purina, and they are pulling the treats for quality control check. I'll let you know how the vet went, of course. |
