My Max had what looked like a wrinkly sac of skin for awhile, dissolvable sutures. I think it took months or maybe a year to go away completely. It was a little crusty and oozy the first couple weeks and I was concerned that he had torn it open jumping.

Our breeder had Teddy done for us and when we picked him up 3 weeks later, Teddy didn't have any sign of the surgery. I think Teddy's was done a little 'neater' by his surgeon.

I am so accustomed to my neutered boys that when I went to a Yorkie show and one of the exhibitors turned her boy over for a belly rub, I almost burst out laughing at the big balls. LOL
