I'll admit; the articles I saw debunking are confusing. I..(I'm so bad!) until hubby laughed about 2 weeks ago about it, was feeding daughter at the SAME time as chewie. i shouldn't have done it, but it sure told her fast who was in charge. She makes certain to greet me first, for instance, even if her tail wag indicates she's happy to see daughter. Just little things that tell me you're right.
