Being away from a puppy for over 12 hours a day is just to much in my opinion. You will have a hard time potty training and everything else. I don't think it would be real fair for the pup either. Maybe you should look into rescuing an adult dog. The yorkies I have had have been very people oriented and one of them even gets sick like if she doesn't get enough human interaction.
