Mine sleep a lot and they are around 5-6 years old. They usually play in the kitchen for about 30- 60 minutes when I am at work and then sleep until the dog walker comes in the afternoon. Then they may play a little and then go back to sleep. When I come home we play but by 8-9 pm they are resting again. My older one Thumper does not always sleep through the night and will get up and move from the bed to the couch multiple times in the evening. I think it is because he gets so much sleep during the day. My two are just couch potatoes they would rather lay right next to me than play with their toys
