Scottie and Casie are not on monthly heartworm medication. My vet has recommended to only take it after travelling somewhere with moderate/high risk of parasites.
I read in another post, the OP feeds quality food grade diatomaceous earth to their Yorkie. I read claims that DE has benefits and removes unwanted parasites keeping the guy healthy. Anyone else have any info / stats on this as a preventative? Does this work?
