Wow, that is neat! I love the camera. It's a little clunky for a lot of situations, and I always encourage people to start with a smaller one and make sure they like digital photography. But once you're hooked, it's a great camera for a serious amateur. Just a hint for action photos: For most situations, you can't go wrong by setting it on the "sports" setting. It automatically selects the fastest shutter speed for the light conditions and helps you stop the action. It's best to shoot on a bright, sunny day too. Forgive me if you already know all this.
