I think that the dosages in liquid form, being delivered this week from Diamondback, are 4 ml each, then, I guess I'm to give Gabey one quarter of that each day, or 1 mg. They are sending me enough for one month, with shipping total cost $41 or so. Then I asked do I call up for a refill at the end of the month..yes, do that. Each month, I asked? They said get the vet to prescribe for 3 or 4 months as they won't do more as it's a prescribed substance. So I guess I call up every 3 or 4 months for a new prescription. I'm just eager to see if it works the same as the Torbutrol. The vet said the new drug IS the same..not to worry. So we'll see. As of this morning, Saturday, he hasn't coughed in days.... thanks, Matt |
