Default Introducing my 3yr old Yorkie to My moms new rescue

Here is the background: My mom lost her little yorkie of 17yrs in 2015 and has just now got to the point she wants a new companion. I found her an adorable little girl that was in need of a new forever home (4lb tiny little 1yo). Besides being a little underfed, Smokie seems bright, friendly and playful and my mom is over the moon...
The issue: My wife is worried about how well new little Smokie will get along with our 3yo Winston. He has grown very accustomed to spending time at Grandma's house and is used to being appropriately spoiled every time he is there. My wife is affraid that Winston is going to feel jealous and sad about Smokie's addition... I am trying to be optimistic about the new dynamic but my wife is looking at things from a worst case scenario perspective.

Looking for any tips on making their initial meeting and future meetings to be as positive for both pups as possible. Thanks in advance for any and all advice!
