I ban Karen to say there is a thing called a car lol, although I am on a mountain, we have so many malls and strip malls, supermarkets not far away, I live in a tourist town, traffic is horrific all seasons, I do a massive food shopping once a month lol, have an upright freezer and plenty of pantry space, dairy products that are needed weekly I pick up when I HAVE to leave my mountain. My son HATED it here when he visited, he was a city boy, opened his door and what ever store he needed was a block or two away. If that's what you want, country living is not for you lol.
