My doggie is 7. He's normally a good eater and keeps hydrated. Regular bowel movements. He does get the occasional kennel cough bout when I board him but otherwise healthy. I racked my brain to find chicken broth yesterday but couldn't find one without onions or garlic. I bought some organic baby food, let him lick a tiny bit and then just dipped a droplet in his water to give it some taste. Worked like a charm - he drank half the bowel. I actually had to remove it so he wouldn't drink the whole thing and upset his belly.

Vet did all necessary bloodwork and took an X-ray to check for obstructions or masses. Everything came back good. She also did a reveal exam which she said seemed fine. He passed a very large stool after we got back from the vet on Monday late morning and hasn't gone since. I gave him some pumpkin purée but I've read that can make them gassy and vet mentioned he had lots of has in his belly. So hard to manage all the symptoms and side effects!
