Default Need advice on Gabey's traecheal collapse medication.

Hello, My 12.5 year old Yorkie, in good health, has had coughing spells for almost a year and a half. It was diagnosed as traecheal collapse, not severe at all. He coughs about 2-4 times a day, never at night and sometimes not at all.
He was given a cough suppressant, Torbutrol 1mg, with instructions to give one pill once or twice a day, as needed. This is a narcotic, though 1mg is a low dosage. The pill should sedate him and it does. So my question:
My vet no longer sells the same pills he prescribed last year; instead, he notified Roadrunner Pharmacy in Phoenix with a prescription for Gabey. The charge is 60 pills, 1 mg, for $92. Has anyone experience, good or bad, with this online pharmacy (roadrunner.com)? Is the cost about right?
Also, what medications do any of you use for your Yorkie, with traecheal collapse?
I don't plan on any surgery with stents, etc and will manage his condition medically. He's large for a Yorkie, 15 1bs.
What is your experience with this TC? thanks a lot, Matt Tudor
