GOOD REMINDER ! My girls are on it year round and if anyone saw what those disgusting worms do to a dogs heart...they would make sure they're protected.
For the record...the treatment for heartworms is awful for the dog and expensive. Far better to prevent !!
I had a panic a month ago and thought I skipped a month...my cocker Tessa started having this little dry cough......I took her to the vet asap and had her tested and the dr. told me she should be protected even if I was late or missed...but it was STILL Scary. |
