I can't even imagine giving up my dogs. I never understand how people do so so carelessly. When I hear people saying they had to give up their dog because they are moving somewhere that doesn't allow dogs I always think so why not move somewhere else that does allow them? It would kill me to have to give up a dog, how could it not??
It's so sad especially for Yorkies, who really are a breed that generally gets very attached to their owner. It's so sad to think about how they're probably wondering where their owner is or why they left.
In this specific case, I get that the mom is frustrated with her kids but by doing this she is also punishing the dog who did nothing wrong. Just like parents can make their kids do brush their teeth and do their homework they can make them take care of a pet they agreed to care for. Or if they don't want to make their kids take care of them then they, the parents, should do so. The parents are adults and agreed to take in this dog. |
