He seems to really like the boiled chicken. The rice not so much. I'm a little iffy on the rice considering it's going to constipated him with the pain meds and everything.
He refuses to drink. We're on nearly 24 hours of no water. He had a bowl at the vet and he got lots of subQ fluids there. He just went pee for the first time in many hours. I just gave him chicken mixed with some of his kibble and he gobbled it down. He seems spooked of the kitchen. Refuses to really spend time here although it used to be his fav space. Giving him his meds is quite the challenge. I feel like he hates me for forcing it in him. He's been gravitating to my mom. I worry he is still uncomfortable...he's been stretching s bit. I've read about the prayer position and not sure if he's done it. Any suggestions on accessing pain and giving him meds? He finds pills hidden in food, doesn't like greenies and is real particular. |
