Well, if they give up the pet responsibly it may be a chance for someone else to give it some love. If a dog has been generally taken care of, chances of adoption are good.
If you REALLY want to get depressed, go to a rescue site and see the truly abused. I don't recommend it, but I've been doing it to find a rescue. An absolute TON of pitbulls and chihuahua, if that gives you any idea of the type of owners abusing dogs. |
