With an aching belly, your pup might not be eager to eat anything. Antibiotics can add to the belly ache, even when prescribed to treat the cause of the digestive problem.

One of my boys doesn't like rice, but steamed plain chicken is usually hard to resist.

How long has he not had an appetite? The main things to watch for are dehydration and low blood sugar. If he doesn't have problems with these, going 24 hours with food isn't too bad.

If you still want to try baby food, avoid anything with onion powder, excessive salt, and of course, any food that is toxic to dogs.
