As much as I don't like it not everyone is like most of the people on this site. We LOVE our furbabies and can't imagine life without them. But some people just don't have that same love for animals. I feel sorry for those people because I think they have an empty spot in their heart. It breaks my heart when I hear people talk like you coworker did - and there are a lot of people out there like that. I try not to judge them because they may be good people in many other ways but I have to admit when I hear people say they are just going to "get rid" of their dog because it has become a "nuisance" I want to strangle them.
