Teapot Yorkies, Droopy Ears? I have two Yorkies, the older, about 4 years old, 6 lbs, is average sized. The baby however, was almost 8 pounds at 4 months. Now, at 5 months I would guess him to be 10+. He eats like a horse and has typically gained about 1 pound a week, most definitely a teapot. I've become fascinated with teapots and really curious about both their size at various ages and also ear status. I saw a few pictures people have posted here of their teapots and it seemed if many of them have droopy ears? Or is this just coincidental?
My teapot's ear size is average but they still droop at 5 months. I did considered doing the taping thing on him, but since it really doesn't matter, it hasn't been worth the trouble. I've attached a recent picture of him including a chewed chair leg in the background and "stuff" all over my dark wood floors! (Oh to go back in time, pre-dogs, and change my choice of flooring)
I would love to see more pictures of the teapots and hear about them. Let me know if you have posted something, or add it here. |
