Welcome to YT. I am formally from NY, The Bronx, you are wise to stay away from Bklyn, there are several brokers in that boro, they buy their puppies from puppy mills. My adopted boy is from Rockaway, he was purchased from a broker in Bklyn. If you search in Pa. be very, very, careful as Pa. is filled with puppy mills. Sorry I cannot suggest any tri-state breeders. Hopefully other members can help in that area. Good luck in your search for that perfect lil companion.
