Mya is now eating Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat dry kibble and getting her Nature'sFarmacy Probiotic Max daily. For the first time in almost two months she has had a "normal" bowel movement 3 days in a row.
She was either dealing with diarrhea or wouldn't go for 3 or 4 days at all(the constipation came with the canned Purina EN) I have gotten some INVALUABLE
information from all of your comments...thank you. Also want to share with everyone that after I told Mya's vet that instead of the Fortaflora that they recommended, I decided to give Mya the Nature's Farmacy Probiotic, the vet stated she had just been to a symposium and they had actually discussed that the Fortiflora was a little "weak" on the amounts of probiotics it contained. (When I talked to one of the professionals at Nature's Farmacy he did mention to me that the Fortaflora would be helpful to Mya but that I should double the amount I was told to give her for it to be effective. He was right.) Just thought you would all like to know.
