Jackson had one around 2.5yrs old, I believe, and then again around... 5? I can't remember exactly. He will be 8 in October and is due again according to the vet by either end of this year or early next year.
All depends on individual dog. Jackson's teeth are actually pretty decent for an almost 8yr old yorkie according to the vet. They're really not
terrible but he's definitely going to need a cleaning soon.
