I use Vet Solutions ear cleaner that has a drying agent. Teddy tends to get more water in his ears in the bath, so I usually use it on him afterward. I don't pour it in the ears. I just dribble a little in with a q-tip without putting the q-tip in the ear canal.

To keep ears clean, I use a flea comb daily on the hair in and near the ear canal. This removes debris and loose hair, keeping the canal from becoming clogged with hair.
