Piper wears a collar at home, but always, always a harness for any ventures out of the house. You might try the buddy belt as fellow YT-ers rave about it; I'm looking into getting one for Piper. Also, I you might want to re-think the retractable leash as there are some horror stories about dogs being injured. I made Pipe a 20' leash that I just reel out as needed and reel in when she's close. |
