HA!! My puppy is only verbal very rarely. She gives squeals and squeal howls when happy, but really isn't a whiner, barker, or growler. I had to teach her to do even the stuff she does do. She didn't make a darn peep until 3 weeks after she came home. She barked briefly at the hose beast and The drill Sargent in full metal jacket, but nothing else.
