Thanks for the suggestion of walmart Kristen. I have also heard target charges $4.00 for some meds. I hate to say I was already at Walgreen and tired, $11.00 didn't sound so bad |
I would have been thrilled too with the $11 at Walgreens vs what the specialist charged.
I made the mistake of filling my dad's post-pneumonia hospitalization meds at our local grocery store pharmacy. We aren't on any prescription meds, so I didn't know any better. The bill was about $575. I wonder how much I would have saved at a Walgreens or WalMart pharmacy.
