The vet price is very high! I'm glad you found a less expensive alternative. Check out WalMart too. They have a list of basic meds that are a flat $4. Max's muscle relaxer was only $4.
I've purchased a 2 week supply of prednisone from the vet for my boys, but I don't recall it being that expensive. I'll have to look at the receipts. We are outside of the big city, so our vet costs are lower and that might be the difference.
