Honestly, that is an outrageous amount to pay for prednisone. I am stunned that your vet would charge that much.
I just purchased prednisone from my vet last week and I paid $17.20 for 30 5 mg tablets. I actually purchased two bottles because I have two pups on it. Not offensive, but now I may get an RX and go to Walgreens. LOL Thanks!
