As for her diet.....You might want to try some of the other RX lower fat foods. Hill's ID is one...I use Purina EN for my little Kiche who has had pancreatitis. I don't think it is as low fat but it works for him and he likes it. I also home cook for one of my pups, Cookie, who is on a low fat diet because of lymphangectasia, IBD and pancreatitis. I had that formulated by a vet nutritionist and she has been on it for a few years and loves it. Yes, I have an affinity for yorkies with medical issues LOL
Anyway....sounds like your girl is just fine and this was just a one time thing that happened. Your vet is probably right...it was most likely the chew and all will be fine now. She is a lucky pup to have such a wonderful mom!
