The ring is adorable I LOVE it, being a ring person myself it would be very clumsy to wear not practical at all, so I myself would pass on it while still wanting it lol, the pendent is adorable, as a gift to your GF I would go with the pendent. Hey you "could" get both, maybe the ring would work for her.
