The belly bands might be a temporary thing but not being a vet I can't say.

BTW buying a house and moving are both in the top ten stressors. It is normal to be overwhelmed for a while until all you and yours are settled in.

So true, diabetes is manageable, my mother had diabetes and her cat had diabetes.....They both needed shots which my mother did every morning. Suprisingly her cat tolerated it. She would give herself a shot first and then her cat. With regular check ups, the cat lived a very long and happy life.

Once the cat's diabetes was under control, she went back to using her litter box. Hopefully the same will happen for your little guy.
