Diabetics is manageable!!! Don't loose hope. No it will never go away but your baby needs you to understand the treatment. The calmer you are the better for him.
The belly bands might be a temporary thing but not being a vet I can't say.
BTW buying a house and moving are both in the top ten stressors. It is normal to be overwhelmed for a while until all you and yours are settled in.
