Thanks for the replies much appreciated.
Had him nearly two weeks now he's settled in well I think, he won't eat the dry food he was eating when he was gave to us so I switched to canned (chicken&rice is his fav) I feed him twice a day a 1/3 of a can per meal is that about the right amount? I give him a few treats a day to reward him, and a dental stick every other day for his teeth/breath.
I bought him 2 harnesses to save pull on the little tykes throat dont think hes ever had one... I tried one that goes over the head he hated that one and one his legs go through which he still doesn't like being put on but doesn't mind when it's on... He shows his teeth and sticks his tounge out when putting it on and snapped at my hand once nearly caught my finger is this normal behaviour as it's the only time he's angry I say with a firm voice no but still goes for it ... Should I continue to use the harness or his collar to avoid him getting angry as ofc I worry about the strain on his throat.
He didn't mind getting a bath no growling or anything but he was pleased to be done shaking all over the place looked cute as a button.
I got him a 16 ft retractable lead he loves the freedom when were on a field.
He only barks when people walk by the window, when he wants up on the bed/couch or wants petting.
And I finally got him to start playing today not with any of the toys I bought but a white sports sock with a knot in either end lol... Was a joy to see him play took abit to coax him wafting the sock in his face but when he went to bite it I knew I was on to a winner

, he loves lying on his back and his chest stroked his face is a picture haha.
I just took a photo of him which I'll add waiting for my partner to come back upstairs.
Still learning as I go but getting
