In order to keep Pipe from getting too worked up, which resulted in her doing that weird wheezing thing, I give her a little hug then scratch her back for a bit. I try to keep her calm and 'down' when preparing for a walk, as well, because I'm afraid her crazy antics will result in an injury; I mean, if permitted, the little hyper-Piper will quite literally bounce of furniture, etc
