Right before I brought home Max, I bought a new mattress and boxspring set but could not decide on a bedframe. I ended up not buying a frame after seeing him leaping off the mattress. My mattress never left the floor.

He slept in his xpen the first year, his choice, but he liked to jump on and off the bed during the day.
