Today she was her usual self!
Just left the vet for a blood pressure recheck and it is now 170, still high but better than 190 yesterday morning and 220 Saturday afternoon.
We have an order in for more food but this vet confused me so will talk to someone else tomorrow there. He said it wouldn't make a difference but the vet yesterday recommended the kibble and trying it out and seeing how she handles it even though it has chicken in it.
He said something about ash levels and either hills was strict or royal Canin was strict about the ash levels. Should we attempt the low fat gastro by royal Canin dry and see how she does on that?
She isn't happy with only wet food right now as keeps barking at the place her bag of food is usually kept and has been hunting for buried kibbles, so we do need to get her on something dry as well.
I am happy it is lower than yesterday but wish it was normal. Hopefully will get there. He brought up meds and said we would talk tomorrow about that. My husband is wondering if they will take the wait and watch approach because it went down again, and maybe they at hoping it will go down more on its own while she's home. |
