I only have 1 yorkie unlike Yorkiemom1 who breeds beautiful Yorkies.
Buddybear only goes into his Irispen when we have to go somewhere together, as we are both retired. However, when we first got Buddybear he was put in a cage at night away from our bedroom.....now he sleeps with us.
As far as the cat goes, let him/her make the moves to accept the puppy. We had an orange tabby named Tigger and at first Tigger would investigate Bud on his own terms. I am thrilled to say they became best friends and would groom each other. Unfortunately Tigger had to be put to sleep and Buddy seemed to miss him for a while, but not truly mourn like some animals do.
